How to Request a New Lot

Expanding your parking network is simple within the Spot Admin portal. By submitting a formal lot request, you ensure that every new location is documented accurately and integrated into your management system from day one.

1. Access the Lot Management Page Log in to your Spot Admin portal using your administrator credentials.
  • From the main dashboard, navigate to the left-hand sidebar menu.
  • Select Lots to open your current lot management overview.
2. Open the Request Form Once you are on the Lots page, look to the top right corner of the screen.
  • Click the button labeled Add or Select a Lot (or the "+" icon).
  • This will launch the official New Lot Request form.
3. Enter Lot Details To ensure your request is processed efficiently, please provide accurate information in the following fields:
  • Lot Description: Provide a clear name or identifier for the location (e.g., "North Campus Overflow").
  • Total Capacity: Enter the maximum number of vehicle spaces available in this lot.
  • Service Type: Select the appropriate category (e.g., Permit Only, Paid Public, or Employee/Faculty).
4. Review and Submit Before finalizing, double-check that all entries are correct to avoid delays in routing.
  • Click Request to submit your form.
  • What happens next? Your request is automatically routed to the implementation team. You can monitor the status of your new lot directly from your "Lots" dashboard.
Pro-Tip: Providing a highly specific Lot Description helps your enforcement team and drivers identify the area more easily on the mobile app.
