About Spot Parking

The Spot Parking mobile app is the easiest way for students, faculty, and campus visitors to manage everything related to campus parking. From finding open spots to paying citations, the app is your personal parking assistant — all in your pocket.

🗺️ Navigate to Available Spots

No more guessing where to park. With real-time availability powered by Spot’s smart camera system, you can:

View live open spaces in color-coded lots
See permit-only zones and time-restricted areas
Tap to navigate directly to the best spot via your preferred map app

Don’t circle the lot — spot the spot.

🧾 Pay or Appeal Citations

Got a citation? No need to check your windshield or dig through emails. The app allows you to: 1. View your citation history with full details and timestamps 2. Tap “Pay Citation” to resolve it in-app 3. If you feel it was unfair, tap “Appeal Citation”, write a message, and upload photos

All appeals are logged and reviewed by your campus enforcement team.

🚙 Manage Your Vehicles

You can register and manage multiple vehicles from your profile:

Add a new license plate
Remove or update vehicle info
Forgot to switch your vehicle for the day? No worries, our system manages that automatically.

This helps the system know which vehicles are associated with your account — and ensures you don’t get cited accidentally.

📬 Submit Lot Feedback or Requests

If something feels off — like a broken sign, unclear markings, or an overcrowded area — use the Lot Feedback tool: • Tap the “Feedback” button on any lot • Describe the issue • Optionally upload photos

Your feedback goes directly to the campus parking team and helps improve the experience for everyone.

👤 Your Account, Synced Everywhere

You only need one account to use Spot Parking across: • This app • The enforcement app (Spot Watch, if authorized) • The admin dashboard (for staff)

Students and faculty are automatically assigned the User role, which allows: • Viewing and paying citations • Managing vehicles • Submitting requests • Receiving permit and appeal status updates

🔐 Safe & Secure Login

Log in with your email and password, or simply use Google Sign-In. If you forget your password, use the Reset Password link on the login screen to receive a confirmation code by email.
